Pilot Opportunity: BoodleBox AI

What is the Tool or Feature?

We’re launching a pilot of BoodleBox AI, a chatbot platform designed specifically for education. BoodleBox provides access to multiple large language models (LLMs) and allows users to create customized bots and assignments that support teaching and learning.
This pilot is an opportunity for the College to explore how generative AI tools can enhance instruction, research, and administrative workflows while also identifying potential use cases for broader adoption.

Who Can Participate?

The pilot is open to faculty, staff, and select students enrolled in classes where instructors are actively using BoodleBox.
The College currently has 160 licenses, with approximately 100 in use across various departments.

Pilot Dates

The pilot officially began on October 1, 2025, and will run for four months, concluding at the end of January 2026.
During this period, participants will have full access to the platform to test its features and provide feedback.

What is the Goal of This Pilot?

The goal of the BoodleBox pilot is to provide a controlled environment where the College can:

  • Explore the capabilities of different large language models (LLMs).

  • Evaluate practical use cases for instruction, student support, and administrative efficiency.

  • Gather insights that will guide future decisions about integrating AI into college systems and classrooms.

What Needs to Be Tested?

Participants are encouraged to:

  • Experiment with the different LLMs available in BoodleBox.

  • Create and test custom bots for instructional or support purposes.

  • Utilize the assignment features within BoodleBox for class activities.

  • Note what works well, what feels confusing, and what features could benefit teaching or operations.

How to Provide Feedback

At the end of the pilot, participants will complete a written survey to share their experiences and suggestions.
In addition, there will be monthly check-ins to collect ongoing feedback and address any issues or ideas that emerge during testing.
