Canvas New Features Release January 21

Instructure will perform its monthly release of new features to Canvas on Saturday, January 21, 2023. This is a part of the regular process by which Canvas provides new features to all of its users on the third Saturday of every month, without interrupting access to the system. More information about how Canvas releases work can be found here. This month brings updates to our Canvas Training Services Portal.

Canvas Training Service Portal

This is also a small change. Previously, the Training Services Portal was hosted in Bridge, but will be transferred to the New Canvas Training Services Portal instance. You can access the Training Services Portal through Canvas in the Help menu.

As a reminder, these training videos and courses are offered directly by Canvas, so it is not associated with FSCJ and thus are not eligible for any FSCJ benefits like one-percent hours. This is one more great way to learn more about Canvas, and starting next week it will have a new interface for an improved user experience.
